  • Gates made in South Wales
The Morfa as it is known to the locals of PortTalbot has been used for decades as a place to get away from the daily routine, a nice place to walk or to take your bike out on a sunny day. Many people take their dog for a walk there as I have done in the past or go fishing. The beach stretches a few miles, as you face the sea to your left is Porthcawl and to the right is the steel works owned by the Indian Tata Group but in-between these lies the Morfa Beach, given to the people of PortTalbot by no other than the Lord Almighty, but leased to Tata. The steel producer would like to divert the existing access to the beach via a coastal path which is some way from the current access and the people of PortTalbot would like Tata to reconsider this plan and keep the original access open.
